Sports: Volleyball

The goal of Lakeshore Sports is to build character in the people of our community through teaching athletic skills, values, and the importance of the individual’s spiritual life.  Each Monday from 7:00-9:00pm Lakeshore hosts adult co-ed volleyball which is open to any adult seeking a fun, competitive game and good fellowship.  We also offer a youth co-ed spring volleyball league.

Our game plan is to have athletic activities in a setting where ministry can occur.  We strive to offer a haven where individuals from all walks of life can come to enjoy fellowship in a safe, nurturing environment. We encourage participants to investigate and apply spiritual truth while they enjoy sports activities. The Bible reminds us of the value of training as we live out our lives.

"...rather, train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come."   1 Timothy 4:7-8

This past spring, over 40 4th-9th graders participated in a fun and exciting five week season of practice and games in our air conditioned multipurpose facility. The kids had a great time developing their skills while learning about Christ.
