Senior Pastor - Rev. Jeffrey Morrison

I’m the Rev. Jeff Morrison and as of August 30, 2009 I am the new senior pastor of Lakeshore Church, PCA.  My wife Cathy, our three children, and I come to Lakeshore Church after having served churches in both North and South Carolina.  We love the Carolinas and are thankful to call Denver our home!  A 1998 graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida, I have a great passion for the Gospel of grace.  I find nothing quite as exciting as telling people that God desires to forgive them and give them a second chance.  Needless to say, I love seeing people set free by falling in love with Jesus!  Because of this passion, the Good News of God’s forgiving love for repentant sinners is the backbone of everything that we do as a church family.  We want to embody the grace of God in all facets of our lives, whether in worship, work, or in play.  Outside of my life in the church my great joys include running, reading, playing the guitar, college football (I’m a huge Clemson fan – Go Tigers!), and spending time with my family.  If you’re in the Denver area, I encourage you to visit with us at Lakeshore Church.  We would love to meet you and get to know you!

Youth Minister – John FitzPatrick

The Lakeshore youth group is best described as “serious fun”.  It’s serious, in reverence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and fun, because they have such a great time together.  The L.S.Y.G. exists to enjoy God together, to share His love with others, and to glorify His holy name.  Our vision for our teens is that their worldview would be in agreement with the inerrant Word of God.  John FitzPatrick brings a creative, enthusiastic, and diverse approach to teaching the truth and grace of the Scriptures.  Known affectionately by the kids as “Mr. John”, he is a husband of twenty years and a dad of three teenage daughters.  Psalm 133:1 says, “Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity.”  With this in mind, John promotes unity among this great group of teens as they attend and participate in the Sunday evening event each week.  Now in his 6th year at Lakeshore, John uses his creative gifts to engage the teens with many diverse and interesting activities while also balancing these with the importance of serving, praying, sharing, small group discussions, and reflecting on the Word of God.  John loves teaching and mentoring these young lives.  He considers it a privilege to have a role in pointing our youth to the cross of Jesus Christ, in which we learn “the just shall live by faith” Rom 1:17.
