Why Life Groups?
"Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people." Acts 2:46-47
Whether you are new in the faith, seeking to know more about faith in Jesus, or you have been on your spiritual journey for a long time, Life Groups provide a way for you to get to know others who can help you in a small setting. We all need other people to encourage us to grow, to overcome, and to succeed in our lives. Being involved in a Life Group will help you to make significant strides in your life.
In today's stressful, hectic world people need a place to connect with others, a place to know more than someone's name. Life Groups at Lakeshore are a place where YOU can build meaningful friendships, while learning more about yourself and God.
Life Groups are an intentional, face-to-face gathering of 3 to 12 people on a regular time schedule with the common purpose of discovering and growing in the possibilities of the abundant life in Christ.
Each Life Group facilitator has participated in small group training exercises and is prepared to guide group members in times of sharing, study, reflection, and prayer. Group members will agree upon topics to be studied, length of meetings, and other information.
